Welcome to my profile. Apparently, all my best friends are married, and my parents think it's high time that I find a partner too, so here we are. Wouldn't have thought I'd need to download this app, but desperate times (dating apps kinda suck tbh).

Wouldn't have thought either that I'd make it this far in academia (and probably gonna stick to it till the end of times and remain poor), but I am currently a post-doctoral researcher at the Rochester Institute of Technology, NY. Yezzzz, the suffering is real.

Other than finding bugs in my code (I'm a computational astrophysicist), I am quite intrigued by fields of psychology, philosophy, art, politics, gender studies, human behaviour, medicine, and much more.

I've grown up in Bombay and Baroda. Moved to Chennai to do my bachelors in nuclear engineering (I'm not allowed to say if they taught us how to build nukes) from SRM University, followed by masters in physics from... more Bangalore. I then did a second masters in astrophysics from Austria/Italy. Spent 6 years in Italy for PhD and postdoc, and yes, this heart is part Italian. My parents have recently moved back to Bambai for good after my Dad retired.

I'm here looking for a partner (it could be you if you're not a parent :). Open to settling down abroad or in India. And nope, don't have a green card, do you?

P.S.: I want a beach wedding, and honeymoon in Japan or Sicily (non-negotiable).
