This profile is co-managed by me and my parents.

I'm a Research and Development Scientist by profession and work in the field of Food Science and Engineering (very different from Home Science or Nutrition science). I'm an avid traveller and my education has taken me places! During my Master's at IIT Kharagpur, I received a fully funded opportunity to conduct my research in Germany. Post that, I was awarded Melbourne Research Scholarship to do my PhD at the University of Melbourne, Australia. Currently I'm working as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Department of Food Science, UMass Amherst. Soon, I see myself transitioning into an industry R&D role.
Apart from work, I enjoy cooking, cafe-hopping, reading, dancing, listening/ watching podcasts and taking long walks in nature. I'm also inclined towards spirituality.

I'm looking for a partner who believes in growth, both personal and professional, is emotionally intelligent and... more down to earth. Personally, I'm a vegetarian, non- drinker and non-smoker and have have similar preferences for a partner. Non-smoker, though, is crucial.

Currently, I'm looking for matches only in the United States as I wish to stay here owing to better job opportunities.
